Four members of the Center for Family Health family recently received Distinguished Service Awards from the Michigan Primary Care Association.The awards honor exemplary service to the patients at the Center for Family Health, 505 N. Jackson St., and its three school-based clinics.
The recipients are:
- Ron Miles, Facilities Manager. He was recognized for working “tirelessly to make sure the downtown facility is fully functional, pristine and welcoming,” said Molly Kaser, CEO at the Center. “He has done this with good humor and friendliness to all.”
- Michelle Mayo, Patient Accounts Manager. “Ms. Mayo also services as chair of the Michigan Primary Care Associations Billing Managers’ Network,” Kaser said. “In this role she has been able to help nonprofit community health centers around Michigan improve their billing and collection practices.”
- Jeanne’ Wickens, Treasurer of the Center’s Board of Directors and Chair of the Finance and Executive Compensation committees. “She is being recognized for her leadership and dedication to CFH’s mission and role in our community and her dedication to seamless, integrated health care,” Kaser said.
- Dr. Sangeeta Sinha, the Center’s Women’s Health Medical Director. “She was recognized for her leadership in improving customer service and health outcomes in our women’s health department,” Kaser said.
The Center for Family Health is one of 34 health center organizations that operate more than 200 sites across the state. The Michigan Primary Care Association is a nonprofit association that represents those centers. Its mission is to promote, support and develop comprehensive, accessible, affordable, quality, community-based, primary-care services to everyone in Michigan.
